List, list and more list.......

I'm not sure how old I was when I started making list.....however, this is how I live. I seem to get overwhelmed without a list and I seem to stay overwhelmed with my list. Right now, I have the following lists:

  1. Grocery list
  2. To do list (consist of multiple things like get with Carla re: Dad's birthday, buy present for Dad from kids, choir practice twice this week, two christmas parties this week, get pictures taken, get to Mall before Sunday for something to wear to choir special - must be red)
  3. Christmas List for nieces and nephews
  4. Christmas Card List
  5. Christmas Dinner list
  6. Patrick Christmas dinner List
  7. Children's church list
  8. Teacher list
  9. plan kids service this wednesday - thank you party for christmas showcase
  10. plan Christmas party/Jesus birthday celebration for children church with pastor's for Sunday the 21st.
  11. Wrap gifts prior to christmas eve so Jake can have fun trying to guess what's in there
  12. Figure out what in the world to buy my husband who doesn't like "stuff"
  13. Figure out what I'm going to buy myself from my husband (smile)

I am now working 4 days a week - 5 hours a day because I was bored at home while Jake was in school - so, now I'm wondering -how am I going to get all this done with only 2 Friday's left!!! Granted - I will be off work the whole week of Christmas (because my schedule flows with Jake's school schedule) - but everyone knows you can't shop with a 5 year old!!!!

Lists keep me sane and at the same time, drive me insane!!

However, I'm sure that I will get it all done. To all the other "list freaks" in the world.......what are we doing to ourselves??? LOL

All this coming from someone who plans her meals out for the entire month and never serves the same thing twice during that particular month............I need to be committed.......HELP ME PLEASE. (ROFL)

Love to all

I love how organized you are and wish I were just a little more. I seem to always have to many interruptions to stay up with mine.
I do try to plan ahead though and drives me crazy not to carry thru with what I want to get done. I feel like I can breathe now that our house is decorated. Can't wait for you guys to see it, especially my grands to see the villages, etc. Every year your dad says it will be the last one he does but every year he seems to enjoy doing it the more until we are almost finished and then he starts with " I am not doing this again".....he is too funny. Our yard really is pretty and he did it all by himself. I can't even take credit for inside as I have to have help with it.
love you, Shirley
