I'm getting ready to take Jake to the zoo today - his daddy had to go into work for a couple of hours - so Jake and I am heading to the zoo (one of our favorite things to do!).......however, while I was doing my scripture reading this morning - I looked up the scripture in the Message Bible that I am memorizing with the Beth Moore challenge (written out below in my blog from last night from the NIV) and I love the way the Message writes it and thought I would share:
Jeremiah 17:10 Message: But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the Human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be."........WOW - isn't that awesome! He knows the real us - not who we sometimes try to pretend to be. This is really going to be a great challenge for me and I'm so pumped at what I'm going to learn and become this year!
